We certainly didn't want to start off the month on August on a low note, but we learned that adult star Cole Ryder has died. It's been reported that the handsome and hairy-chested star of nine films apparently died in his sleep this past Wednesday. Although initial reports said the cause of death was a staph infection, the official cause won't be released until after the autopsy. Nevertheless it is sad news for those who knew him and followed his films. Cole Ryder was a former Channel 1 exclusive who was one of the stars of last year's blockbuster Link: The Evolution. More recently he did Cruisin' Grounds for Mustang. We don't know whether he had completed any other unreleased films, but we will keep you posted. 

  From the tributes and comments we've read, Cole Ryder was very well-liked by his peers and those who knew him personally. Everyone from Chi Chi Larue to fellow performers and friends have all released glowing words of praise for Cole Ryder as a sweet, sincerely warm-hearted professional. Of course we send out our thoughts and condolences to his friends and loved ones at this very hard time.
