News Round-Up

Married couple Tristan Jaxx & Tristan Phoenix

While the latest bits of news we have this week probably won't seem very earth-shattering at face value, we have a strong hunch (as it is with ANY news item) that they will have some implications further down the road.

Raging Stallion announced that it has signed four new exclusives to the studio. The studio cited the fact that because they've increased their output of productions, they have need of a bigger talent pool. Obviously it looks like the studio is doing quite well in this competitive market. They guys they've signed are all going to be in that cowboy film To The Last Man which starts production soon. The guys are as follows:

Tristan Jaxx.  He's spent the last year at Falcon in several big productions and now joins his real-life hubby (yes, they are officially and legally married--thank you California!) and Raging Stallion exclusive Tristan Phoenix. We do wonder if they were together before they got into the biz and chose their identical names or whether their names drew them together. Either way it's another example of a real couple at the same studio. Apparently Raging Stallion is going to let their new exclusive scruff it up more to fit into the "look" of the studio.

Manuel DeBoxer. We mentioned this guy before when he first signed. The French-Canadian stud is known as Dereck at Maskurbate and his scene in the new movie will be with RJ Danvers.

Damian Rios. This relative newcomer started out as a Ridgeline Films exclusive, he did Restless Youths for Chi Chi LaRue, and has appeared frequently at Randy Blue. Interestingly he's going to be able to remain an exclusive to both Randy Blue AND Raging Stallion just as Jesse Santana (until recently) was able to do with Jet Set Men and Cocky Boys.

Bo Matthews. He's no stranger to Raging Stallion having appeared in several films but apparently both he and the studio decided that it was time to make their mutual love for each other official.

When it was announced that David Forest was selling his company to FabScout (see FabScout Takes Over) one of the people in attendance was Jamie Hendrix who went from performing in the 90's to production and direction and quit the biz some 8 years ago. He just recently announced that he's back in the biz again has shot a new police-themed film Friendly Force starring newcomer Chad Clovis. Also featured in the film are Kevin Cavalli, Brodie Newport, Park Wiley and Logan Robbins. The film doesn't have a distribution deal yet but you can check out a preview at Hendrix's website.

While we're on the subject of
FabScout we visited the site and apparently the transition of power has gone off without a hitch although we did notice that at least one name missing from the Forest roster--Tony Capucci.

Collin O'Neal
has decided to move strictly into production although he hasn't ruled out the possibility of a return to performing---but he did say it would only be done exclusively for his website. After all he has a very successful series going with World of Men and his recent release Serbia has been on the Raging Stallion best seller list for awhile now.
