Every Picture Tells a Story
Recently we were surprised to learn something from one of the websites we promote. The webmaster informed us that he has a sizable percentage of members who are MORE interested in the galleries that his site provides. In other words, there are those just want to look at and download photos of the very sexy guys that appear on the site. Of course we knew that the availability of high quality photos and galleries were big selling points to online video sites, but we didn't realize there are guys that were interested solely in that. It certainly explained why there were a good many successful membership sites that were non-adult and picture-oriented. A few we've already mentioned here before but we're listing them again and added a few to give you a pretty good idea of what out there. We'll be giving these sites the full review treatment in the coming days at Jack Manly.
All American Guys
This one has been one of our favorites for awhile now as one of the sexiest non-adult sites around .."dedicated to today's All American Guy, showcasing the hottest new faces and bodies in America. Many have dubbed it the male version of "Maxim!" online..." We couldn't agree more.
As of this writing there are over 150 muscular models on display in two sections: "All American Guys Showcase" and the "College Muscle Showcase". They're pretty interchangeable but the second section is more apt to feature fitness models and competitors. There are literally thousands of pictures and thousands of videos available to see these guys. If you love pictures of flawless hunky guys it's impossible to be disappointed. And if you like seeing these guys on video there is an astounding variety--music videos, photo shoots, candid videos, and more. There are also live cam chats and even if you miss them they are later archived for you to see. Guys do keep it clean but they do strip down to next to nothing and pose.
You'll find more than a few favorites at All American Guys and the site is adding new guys all the time so that there's always someone new to get attached to. The site says that it "..selects only the best models to appear on our site, but we try to make the site as diverse as possible. The models come in all shades, shapes and sizes, from bodybuilders to athletic fitness models and more leaner guys. But the one common thread is that the models are considered some of the hottest men in America and all have a unique personality of their own.." Ryan Boyd Models
We just recently discovered this site that primarily features high quality "fine art nude photography" and lots of it. The content is also 100% original the site is updated several times a month with hot men--new and familiar faces. Ryan Boyd Models also includes a good amount of background info on the models. The site is fairly new (it started in early 2007) but has already accumulated a large archive of exceptional pics. Because it does feature nude photography the membership price $19.95 per month but we'll keep you posted if there are any changes (usually there are when content and traffic grow).
The last time we talked about the "model & fitness" sites like the ones we mentioned above, we listed Model Men and Fitness Hunk which have grown a bit since and offer some very attractive content. Here are some recaps:
Model Men
This growing site is straight up about itself and that is ALWAYS appreciated. It features "male models and amateur guys..." The site includes pics of all kinds of sexy guys in all kinds of photography and themes. We're talking guys in jeans, underwear, swimsuits, and nude. You'll find them in fine art photos, candid-style photos, in studios, among natural settings, etc. You'll definitely see familiar faces that you may have seen elsewhere (our fave Aaron Savvy is here, for example) but no photos are recycled---they are all original and exclusive to Model Men. The site prides itself as presenting "real stuff" that guys are looking for.
Model Men doesn't feature videos (at this juncture) but the site is only $9.95 per month and it's updated every Tuesday and Friday with new "theme galleries" featuring multiple models posted every two weeks. There's also a 3 month option where you receive $1 off each month for the life of your subscription. AND...there's a 6 month subscription where you buy 5 months and get one month free, plus your subscription is only $7.95 month for life after that.
Fitness Hunk
This fitness site started by certified fitness model Kevin Gould featured his "photo/video updates, weekly training articles, web cam training, tips and advice on diet and nutrition..." It's almost two years later now and there are now two dozen more hunks, webcam chats, weekly video fitness tips, and more. What we liked then is the reasonable rates. A month is only $16.95 , 4 months is only $29.95 (@ $7.50/month!), 6 months is only $39.95 (@ $6.65/month) and one year is $59.95 (yep less than $5.00 a month!).
