Back in September of 2007 we posted up several new website reviews one of which was Cocky Boys. We said on the blog:
  "..We’re very pleased to be one of the first to review this great site and we honestly think it’s worth a look. The site host has big plans for the site and we think he already has a winner on his hands." 
 
 As it turns out we were right but even we couldn't really have predicted how much of a "winner" that Cocky Boys would turn out to be. Of course in retrospect it's pretty easy to see that Cocky Boys has all the obvious ingredients for a successful site. However, it's how all those factors were put together that separates the success of Cocky Boys from the rest. Here are those reasons:

 -- A wide variety of straight, bi, gay, and gay-for-pay dudes. Amateurs, pros and those in between have all appeared here at Cocky Boys. Look through the roster here and you'll see what we mean. There are types for just about every viewer and there are very few instances when the guys are not into their scenes or partners.

 -- High quality videos that seem very fresh and improvised. They don't suffer from looking scripted--even with fantasy-type premises that require at least some kind of preliminary guidelines. What helps is the use of ambient light and sound that gives it all a very natural sexual feel. 

 -- Site growth that didn't happen too quickly nor did it seem "padded". When Cocky Boys added a second video to its weekly output it seemed a very natural progression. When the number of formats grew and videos were made bigger it was done as an answer to members wanting more options.

   Of course these are just a few of the many reasons why Cocky Boys is a success and why we like it so. This won't be the last time you'll hear from us on this site especially if a couple of our plans come to fruition (more on that another time).  But for now here's a list of our current favorites from the site. Keep in mind it was hard to narrow the list down and depending on our mood we could easily change it up again:

  Mitch After Work--This is one of those "truth in advertising" videos that let us know that Cocky Boys was on the level. Mitch was billed as a waiter and it was true--we actually saw him working. Thus when site owner Kyle Majors said that Mitch asked if he could do a video for Cocky Boys, we believe him. As it turns out this was a big stepping stone for Mitch. He's built up his bod since and become Mitchell Rock, a popular performer at ManifestMen.

  Prove It -- Featuring Jesse Santana and Brodie Sinclair this one gets Jesse to prove that he's a "Cocky Boy" by taking on Brodie. The always eager Jesse was no surprise. What WAS a surprise was seeing a much more animated Brodie than we were used to. It gave us an inkling that the laid back Brodie Sinclair persona was going to be less evident in the future. This is a very hot & forceful scene by both studs.

 Straight to the Hot Tub-- This one answers the question of what happens when a well-endowed straight top meets up with an insatiable bottom. Robert Long is the big top (d'uh, check the name) and Tory Mason is the bottom who issues a challenge he knows he can't lose. 

 Anybody Home?--Porn fave Eddie Stone gets to live out a fantasy of getting topped by a delivery man played by Logan Robbins. Even though it is a role play video, Logan decides to improviser and wants to flip---who could say no to that?

 From Bottom to Top--This one was publicized heavily as porn star Billy Brandt's last bottom scene and Brad Star aims to make it memorable. This is one of those videos where everything works together perfectly. The setting, the action and the realistic feel make this one worth all the preliminary hype.

 Best Buddies--Another milestone--Eddie Stone's last video before retiring and his first filmed video for Cocky Boys. Jason Hawke tops Eddie in a scene in a very aggressively hot video where the angles changed so quickly that Kyle Majors had a hard time capturing it all without a flub (which was left in)

 Get It Ready--Tory Mason once again proves that a bottom can still be in charge with another top. In this case he seduces RC Ryan who isn't exactly being forced into topping Tory, but at times looks like he doesn't know what hit him!

 Jesse & Guy--It isn't a given that a real-life couple performs together well on camera but Jesse Santana & Guy Parker shows how it's done in a sexy shower scene. 

   Probably one of the least publicized yet interesting parts of Cocky Boys in the 'interviews" section of the site. What started out as a relatively small extra feature has evolved and expanded. If you want to get to know the guys of Cocky Boys and find out the stories behind some of the videos there are over 45 of these extra videos. We guarantee you that they are fascinating because in many cases these sexy guys are even more appealing and noticeably different personality-wise from their on-screen personae.

  So what's next for Cocky Boys? That's the beauty of the site. You just can't predict what's in store here and that's yet another reason that we like it.
