Update: Spencer Quest

Whenever possible we like to update our previous blog entries---especially when they involve imparting good news. Not too long ago we turned our attention to the blogs of several adult stars including one of our favorites Spencer Quest. As you might recall, Quest (aka Spencer Keasey) had his share of drug problems, left the industry and moved to Provincetown. When we last viewed his blog it looked as though things were looking up for the sexy star. We were right.
So, we have good news for you Spencer Quest fans. He's got a new position in P-Town as men's health program manager for AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod which has to be a personal triumph for Spencer. In addition Spencer Quest is involved again in acting---not adult film acting mind you. As of June 30 and thru July 30, Spencer Quest is co-starring in the play 2 Boys in a Bed on a Cold Winter's Night at the Provincetown Art House Theatre. Also starring Scott Cunningham (who had starred in two previous productions) the play is directed by David Drake. From the theatre's website:
"Playwright James Edwin Parker tells what two men do after sex on a cold winter's night in Manhattan.
2 Boys in a Bed on a Cold Winter's Night takes place around 5 a.m. during the winter of 1987 in a threadbare apartment in Chelsea. The two guys have met in a pick-up bar and just had a wild night of sex. The hunky boys have a psychological joust with each other after the sex acts are over. There is much discussion in real time of their first sex acts when they were young.
We find that Peter is a wild and crazy guy who just loves sex for the moment. Daryl is looking for a life partner. You get the impression 'this ain't gonna happen' with these two guys. Yes, the old saying opposites attract opposites does not go with Peter and Daryl."
So for those of you who might be slipping away to P-Town for a summer vacay, you've got a chance to see the sexy Spencer Quest in person. We at Jack Manly briefly met him and corresponded well before this site came into being and we found him to be one of the most sincerely nice guys. We wish him much success.
