Who's Who
Reece this week at ChaosMen.... ....and previously as Guy #3 at Sean Cody
As we've seen and mentioned before it's not that unusual to see models show up on the various so-called "amateur" sites and in films. No one is really trying to hide this fact even if the guys sometimes change their names from site to site. So, yes most of the sites are pretty upfront about these guys having appeared elsewhere. But there are a few that slip through the cracks, too.
This past week at Chaos Men new guy Reece was introduced. Aside from being a little more mature and muscular than the collegiate types we've gotten used to, he looked very familiar to us. Fortunately our eagle eye (and sharp memory, thank you) recalled him from Sean Cody where he appeared in a recent Auditions video. Sure enough we checked and he appears as "Guy #3" in Auditions #17. As you might recall Reece isn't the first guy who has started out somewhat anonymously in one of these Sean Cody videos (see ..and Newcomers). But it is slightly ironic that he'd show up at Chaos Men whose site owner Bryan Ockert used to be a photographer at Sean Cody. In fact if you look over the roster of Chaos Men studs you'll see quite a few familiar faces from other sites.
While we're on the subject of Chaos Men, one of the "busiest" guys at Chaos Men for six months (from July '07 through Jan '08) was Saber. The tall & lean stud was known for his enthusiastic and near-gymnastic style in his seven videos and certainly had his share of scenes with hot guys. Since then he's changed his named to Orlando Dawson and turned up in one of the Falcon Jocks series Road Trip vol 4 : Big Sur and a very steamy Cocky Boys flip-flop video with Jonathan Lowe.
Speaking of the Falcon Road Trip series, these videos are intended to showcase "new" talent and Falcon has dipped into the world of online video sites to cast some of these guys. For example, one of our future "where can I see more of this guy?" subjects James Biehn appears in vol 1 Russian River as James Hamilton in the first scene with R.J. Danvers (before he signed with Raging Stallion).
You won't just find these guys from online video sites in the Road Trip series. Falcon has carefully cast these former "amateurs" in their big ticket flicks too. But we'll cover all that on a future blog--the cross referencing on this is mind-boggling, trust us.
