What's the Score?

Now that Grabby Awards have been handed out and the studios have started to send out their press releases touting their wins, we've decided to do some accounting. Taking a look back at all the awards handed out this season we've figured out the big winners--studios, films, and performers. Here are the results.

--It should come as no surprise that Grunts from Raging Stallion won the most awards. Link: The Evolution from All Worlds was a close second though. It would be interesting to see the sales figures for 2007 to see if very popular titles got their due.

-- Grunts also catapulted Raging Stallion to the top of the heap in the company tally, although Titan Media can lay claim to having the most award-winning films. H20, Breathless, Fear, and Folsom Leather all won awards.

--Performers Jake Deckard & Ricky Sinz tied for the most individual awards (unless our tally is off) Special mention should also be made to the strong showing of newcomer Blake Riley.

--
The overall big winner? Fetish.
Link: The Evolution, Fear, Folsom Leather, Ink Storm, Verboten, etc
all had strong showings in these awards and we can assume that they did well in sales too. Each of the major studios has been doing more fetish films or at least including elements related to the genre. And, as was reported earlier, Raging Stallion has created a whole new division Fetish Force.

With all this mind it will be interesting to see which films dominate next year's nominations and awards.
