Hot House's David Dakota in his Sean Cody Audition Cody Cummings Debuts at Hot House
A couple days ago we mentioned comebacks so time again to mention newcomers in male erotica that we've seen and will be seeing soon in studio films and online video sites. By now we don't even have to mention the influence of these sites--it would be redundant if we did. One blog we ran across actually complained (mildly) that one studio was seemingly getting most of their new talent from online video sites. Our response? What's wrong with that? By casting from these sites, studios don't have to do screen tests or audition tapes. And it's proven to be a successful method.

You can see the results of this success in the choices for the Grabby Awards' Trophy Studs. The yearly awards (held Memorial Day weekend) has a tradition of featuring four hot stars and breakthrough performers to hand out the awards to the winners. This year the guys are Blake Riley, Aaron James, Ricky Parks, and C.J. Knight. Blake Riley is of course a Randy Blue discovery and who has gone on to "Newcomer of the Year" honors. Aaron James has made it big at College Dudes 24/7, has been featured on MTV's True Life, & is now a Jet Set Men Exclusive. Ricky Parks is a hot newcomer at Colt Studios who is one of the stars of MASSIVE. CJ Knight is a Hot House exclusive whose work also can be seen in several Hot House Backroom online videos.

Speaking of Hot House, the studio has become just that--HOT! The Hot House Backroom has really raised the bar with content. You can see scenes from videos including new and upcoming releases and their online exclusive videos are exceptional. They feature their established stars and new exclusives (like the mouth-watering Kyle King) but also feature guys from the world of online video such as Johnny Castle. There's BIG news this week from the Hot House Backroom. New this week is none other that Cody Cummings! Now you already know he was our Jack Manly Man of the Year for 2007 and started out at Next Door Studios as featured performer known as Tyler. Plus, you have to have noticed that we've been beating the drum for his own Next Door site Cody Cummings.
The debut of Cody Cummings in the Hot House Backroom comes on the heels of the info that's been leaked out of the upcoming Trunks 5. We already mentioned that Randy Blue discovery Tyler Johnson is featured in the video and now we've learned that studly Kyle King has a scene with David Dakota. You wouldn't know the name because he was known as Guy #2 in the 20th edition of the Sean Cody "Auditions" series.
Incidentally the Sean Cody "Auditions" series have been on the site almost from the beginning as a way for the site to show shorter clips of guys that often didn't work out for one reason or another or as Sean Cody calls them "diamonds in the rough". We took a look back to see if we could find any other guys besides David Dakota that appeared in this series and went on to other things. We were surprised that not only were there very few, the only ones we spotted were from recent videos.

Now we all know that guys from one online video site showing up on another isn't anything new but PerfectGuyz is getting their fair share these days. Evan Grey and Seth Boxer have been on other sites as has new addition Kevin (Kevin Falke from Randy Blue). Then there are guys that changed their names when coming to PerfectGuyz. Rian (Scott from Corbin Fisher), Anthony (Douglas at Sean Cody) are just the ones we noticed at a glance. And we aren't complaining one bit. If you've seen PerfectGuyz you know how beautifully the guys are photographed. The gallery pics alone are transforming.
One last note on PerfectGuyz. The appearance of new guy Shane gives us the chance to mention that you'll see him again soon on a new online video site. The site will be launching soon and as that date nears we'll be giving you more hints and previews. So stay tuned. Hot House Backroom
