It's not exactly the Palme d'Or, but we've learned that adult superstar Parker Williams is going to be honored this month at the Torino Film Festival in Italy.  The actor/director will be the first American adult performer to receive the honor is the 20+ years of the GLBT film festival Da Sodoma a Hollywood. The prestigious festival has decided to include US adult films in a special category "Porno Visions" and spotlight certain people--the first honoree being studly Parker Williams.

 Parker Williams has been in over 45 films since his first film Street Date in 2001. He's appeared in films for Titan Media, Studio 2000, Channel 1 Releasing, Falcon,  All Worlds, and Raging Stallion. It was at Raging Stallion that he directed his first feature 2005's Lube Job which he'll be presenting at the festival. Apparently the gay adult portion of the festival will cover several decades of American gay adult films and Williams was personally invited by the festival director because of his popularity with Italian audiences (we knew Italians had good taste!)

--He has some legit theater to his credits. He and fellow pornster Matthew Rush acted in the prison parody Cell Bloq (a remake of 80's flick Boys of Cellblock Q)

-- He and Rush have joined together and created their own company specializing in gay entertainment. It's called Savage Monkey and there should be some news about some of the projects one both guys clear their schedules.
