As you've noticed we like to point out and highlight performers and websites out of the many sites that we review and cover at Jack Manly. And there are still a few unsung sites that we feel deserve a mention for consistency of quality, a willingness and passion to grow and evolve, and give its members value for their money. Next Door Studios is one of those sites that fits that description and has recently made some changes that make it uniquely important to mention.
You see, Next Door Studios is a host site for 7 separate sites which are tailored to different tastes. These sites within a site feature solo, gay, bi and straight videos as well as LIVE feeds of nude male dancers performing in a club. If you think it's a lot of content you're right. If you think it's an expensive you'd be wrong. By joining one site for $29.95 (or getting a Next Door Pass for the same price)you get access to ALL the sites. This was already a bargain a couple months ago when it was 5 sites, but Next Door Studios had added two more full sites bringing that total up to 7. There's been an increase in content and in some cases a visual re-design that's attractive to even the most casual of observers. Like most sites there are some regulars and recurring studs who come along and perform on each of the sites listed below. This not only showcases their versatility but it helps them get a fan base. It's also a smart marketing move because it increases the traffic on all the sites. After all, once we find someone we like we want to follow them wherever they might appear.
Tommy D & Riddick Clark Kent & Samuel
Next Door Male and Stroke That Dick are your basic solo sites---guys getting off for the camera. What's the difference? Next Door Male is billed as “straight men for a female audience”. Obviously there's no way to verify that so the site is banking on the fact that the audience won't care. Stroke That Dick features some of the same guys although there are more so-called "amateurs" here. The target audience here is supposedly male, but realistically there's no discernible difference in video styles. The difference comes in the performers--for the most part they're well endowed individuals.
Next Door Buddies is geared for the gay audience by featuring guy on guy action. There are attempts at some incidental plots and fantasies but the main idea is to create a scenario that gets the guys together. Most viewers can "fill in the blanks" with their own imaginations. The videos feature varying degrees of intimacy between the guys but the action is always hot and the videos are well-photographed.
Next Door Hookups follows that trend that you often see these days---straight sex for gay eyes. The same hotties from the other sites get it on with girls and sometimes with another guy in three-way action. How is this appealing to gay eyes? Well the videos are filmed in such a way as to focus on the male performer(s). Yes, it is for more "broad-minded" viewers but since some of the guys are straight or bi you do get a visual perception that they are having NO trouble getting hard.
Tommy D--TDX³ stars cute blonde muscle stud Tommy D, who once appeared on several sites but now makes his home here. He's definitely one of the driving forces behind Next Door Studios. His site has recently been revamped and now includes a blog with LIVE shows on their way. As the host Tommy gets to perform with the guys (and sometimes the girls) of the Next Door "pantheon". It appears he gets to break in the newbies too for their subsequent appearances at the rest of the sites. He has an engaging and disarming personality for this but also a slyly sexy persona.
Cody Cummings is the site we've told you about before and features our Jack Manly Man of the Year for 2007. He was known as Next Door fave Tyler Cummings but got so popular he was given his own site that is similar to that of Tommy D. Obviously we've already been sold on this guy but the fact that we get to enjoy him once a week is one of the highlights of the year for us. You can read the full review here...
Nude Male Dancers is exactly what it sounds like. It's a virtual trip to a strip bar--in this case a nude strip bar in Montreal. You get full access to over 40 hours of a week's worth of live streaming videos. A 5 hour live show EVERY night, all the recorded shows, live VIP chats, jerk-off contests and more. It's unique entertainment and happily has been added to the line-up of sites available with a Next Door Pass.
As we mentioned, Next Door Studios is a great bargain and it's really incomparable in this regard. But it's one of the few sites that offers such variety and consistent quality. These are just some of the reasons why we wanted to give it some props.
