Janice Dickinson: Is That All There is?
Oh Janice. You let us down. That's it? That's the end of the season? We've been patient here at Jack Manly and had to endure an abbreviated TV season during the writers' strike. We turned to you Janice Dickinson to help us get through it all. For the most part you DID provide us with weeks of entertainment with your own brand of self-deprecating humor.
Where did it all go wrong?
Could it be the repetitive and drawn out nature of much of the drama? How many times did we see the same scenes play out over and over? After one or two instances we didn't to see any more scenes of Peter and Janice locking horns.
Where was the gay drama we really wanted to see? Janice added a former porn star Rodrigo and a gay male couple Paul and Shaun. Rodrigo's past was never mentioned and his romance with JP ended quicker than a one-night stand in West Hollywood. As for the gay couple, their storyline was given zero time. Instead we have to see more of closet case Kehoe's shenanigans, skeletal Chris Jones' Casanova behavior, and the overdone mixed up minds of the girl models who were busy bitching, moaning, cutting, and throwing attitude.
Granted we did see a sexy Ed Hardy underwear fashion show in Miami but that was over much too soon in spite of some bare male asses on display.
But the season ends (sort of) with an apparent dissolution of Janice's partnership with Peter. What's next? And when will the new season start airing? We need to see if they can get this show back on track. As for JP Calderon, he's celebrating an anniversary-------
