 We've got lots of news and a few juicy tidbits to report, rounded up from a lot of sources---everything from politics to entertainment.

 We start on the political front as Super Duper Tuesday turned into a split decision for the Democrats. The spin meisters in both the Clinton and Obama campaigns haven't completely weighed in on the results and we're sure each side will find something to tout. We're just happy that in spite of this Democratic battle going on, the GOP still remains fractured no matter how McCain does. It's going to be a interesting few months.

 Don't look for former basketball star and out activist John Amaechi to embrace either Democratic candidate just yet. Hillary posted a message on the lesbian website OurChart, proclaiming her commitment to gay rights if elected and Barack has been speaking in churches against homophobia, but Amaechi is not sold on either one until they speak more forcefully and directly about gay issues. It's all in his blog at new website The Daily Voice.

 Political activism can also make for strange bedfellows. The Gay American Heroes Foundation, which pays tribute to victims of hate crimes while pushing for legislation and education is on a fundraising tour which includes an exhibition. Former Amazing Race co-winner Chip Arndt is one of the cause's big champions and recently at an LA fundraiser he spoke and thanked another board member and his ex-husband  Reichen Leimkuhl for his support. Although the two split up after they won the Amazing Race they still remain very supportive of one another. That's the kind of stuff we like to hear. Incidentally, if you didn't already know Reichen's current flame Ryan Barry was chosen as the new A/X underwear model.

  Speaking of fashion, designer Marc Jacobs was rumored to be having a fling with Erik Rhodes, the porn actor who has been causing quite a stir on his own blog with his own personal drama. It was incorrectly reported that Jacobs' relationship with escort Jason Preston had cooled off and that Rhodes was his new fling.  Through a spokesperson, Jacobs insisted they were just friends and Erik Rhodes sounded off on his own blog. If you have the time and interest, Rhodes' blog is fascinating. It's not a gossip site at all, but Rhodes his no qualms about pouring out his heart and soul.

 In real porn news, there've been a lot of developments on the old crime blotter. Pornster and jailbird Mark Dalton, was denied parole in Texas and will probably be in jail until January 2009. OUCH! Talk about hard time. We wonder if he'll be able to maintain his "gay for pay but don't touch" policy when he becomes someone's bitch.

 Nickolay Petrov, who has done his share of amateur and studio porn, has been arrested under his real name Edmond Vardanyan for "traveling in interstate commerce with intent to kill, injure, harass or intimidate another person". In this case it was a Sarasota couple he's been after. Apparently the couple hadn't paid off a debt in New York and Vardanyan had been hired to stalk them and beat them up. Apparently several efforts including attacking the couple and hitting them in their heads didn't work. Although he was only paid a couple thousand dollars for his "work", a more substantial sum was discussed for the purpose of bumping off the elderly couple. Consider it a hit that didn't go well. If convicted (naturally he's denying the attempted murder charges) he could spend 20 years in the slammer. Too bad this didn't happen in Texas. He and Mark Dalton could be roommates.

  In non-crime porn news Brodie Sinclair that ubiquitous amateur and studio porn star has signed an exclusive contract with FPG Entertainment, a fairly new company specializing in "athletic" themed films. You know what we mean--wrestling, boxing, and sexual aerobics. Apparently Brodie has a background in "mixed martial arts" and was a competitor back in Texas. Ironically, Nickolay Petrov was also one of featured performers at this site.  Petrov should have used his fighting skills on here rather in real life. The studio has released two films Punks and TopDawgz and their roster includes RC Ryan, Dak Ramsey, Trey Casteel, Alexy Tyler, and Cole Ryan.

 Another pornster who won't be making new films anytime soon is Eddie Stone. He's done work for several studios and some amateur site stuff too including a few videos at Cocky Boys, who this past week hinted that he was leaving the biz. It's been reported in a Toronto gay newspaper that Eddie Stone has indeed returned to Canada ostensibly to go back to school. Thankfully his decision seems to have come from
a personal decision and not from either animosity towards the business, or a scandal or a brush with the law as in the case of Dalton and Petrov.

 Speaking of Cocky Boys, this site seems to have gotten its share of milestone videos lately. Aside from Eddie Stone's last performance, we may have also seen the last one of Nickolay Petrov (he appeared last week!) And Billy Brandt chose Cocky Boys for his exclusive last scene (on video) as a bottom. And you can see a hint of Brodie Sinclair's martial arts skills here too.
