Snack Time

Since we've decided to update our favorite model/fashion reality/competition shows in one sitting like we did last week, we'll be waiting 'til the next installment of Make Me a Super Model airs before our updates and reviews on Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency and Project Runway (both of which had some unpredictable developments)
But we do have some late-week updates that involve a few hunks and some news in grand world of adult entertainment.

Another writers' strike inspired disaster struck Fox on Wednesday in the form of a  moronic game show called Moment of Truth.  Here's the deal. Contestants are put in a chair, hooked up to a lie detector and forced to answer a series of somewhat embarrassing questions before an audience (including three of their friends and loved ones). If they tell the truth they get the money. If they lie to spare themselves or their loved ones pain and humiliation--well they win zip. It's pretty degrading and silly and has about as much long-term appeal as Deal or No Deal. It's all based on that question of greed--what are you willing to do or say for bucks?

Why did we watch? Well, the first contestant was a handsome hunk and personal trainer that we have met. He's Ty Keck, a former football player who has done some modeling as well as personal training. He also has done some worthwhile charity work and has run a "boot camp" workout class at a local park.  And yes he's straight. And he has this amazing ass---we kid you not! The poor guy got through a series of questions well. He admitted that he admires himself in the mirror (one of his neighbors told us that years ago!), he thinks he's best-looking of his friends, he checks out the guys in the shower (NICE!), has apparently done something that would make his wife not trust him (did he do more than check out the guys??), he has delayed having children because he isn't completely sure they'll stay married and he would want her to get liposuction if necessary. The question he lied on? That he had NOT touched a female client more than was necessary. Dude! Anyway that was the last we'll see of Ty on the show, but not the last you'll see of him here:

If beefy muscle guys are your thing you missed out on seeing a group of them at LA's Festival Theater on January 23. Carmen Elektra hosted a "Toga Screening" of the comedy satire Meet the Spartans with a hot group of men in attendance.  Those are some of  the "participants" (Carmen's in the middle) at the top of this entry.

In the world of adult films there was apparently some skirmish between a certain sunken cheeked star and studio producer and a big time gay blog over some derogatory remarks that were allowed on the blog's coments section. It looks like it was eventually resolved, but the blog has had to retool itself. And no, we're not going to name any names.

A name we CAN mention is Chi Chi Larue who has announced a nationwide talent search for a well-endowed  unknown to star in Channel 1 production of Powertool 3.  You see Channel 1 has acquired the rights to the
Catalina Video library which includes the classic Jeff Stryker prison sex flick Powertool. There will actually be "Search for THe Next Powertool Star" events held around the country in this casting call. If you think you could be the next Jeff Stryker go to www.catalinavideo.com for details. Let's hope this thing goes off better than Powertool 2. Even though Powertool ended with sequel potential Stryker wasn't available for it. So footage of him was inserted in the beginning of Powertool 2 and the story folllowed other characters. Stryker did make his own quasi-sequel called Powerful 2 with his character again winding up in jail (what a naughty boy!). Maybe this time around Chi Chi will fork over some bucks and convince Stryker to put in a cameo (maybe as the dad of the new star? or the warden?)

When Brodie Sinclair first signed with Raging Stallion their press release mentioned he had filmed a scene with Roman Ragazzi as well being featured in a role in their heavy duty nominated film GRUNTS. Well, that first scene is about to be seen in the soon-to-be-released Savage. The two-disc DVD is billed as "in the tradition of Instinct and Manifesto " so you know it's going to be all-out sex. Brodie and Roman engage in a little role play in their scene---it's a naked wrestling match that turns into a winner takes all sex romp.  Let's hope the normally laid-back Brodie is up for the challenge.

You are so right about Moment of Truth. It is so amazingly bad. It would be a totally hateful and mean-spirited show if the contestants weren't so smug and unlikable. It brings out the worse in everyone (including me, the viewer). Comparing it to Deal or No Deal id spot-on. Both shows are 12 minutes of entertainment stretched over an hour. I'll stick to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. Those shows can be as short as 11 minutes, but pick in a whole lot of entertainment!
