    The year has barely started and we're already lining up potential candidates for our 2008 "best of"
 lists. You'll probably recognize a few but  there are some new faces that our radar has picked up.

  First, the good news for older men and aging geeks. As we told you a few days ago, Kathy Griffin seems very happy with computer genius and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. We really hope this works out for both their sakes. Now we know that Wozniak is not exactly an Adonis, but he does give hope to all those who are successful but lonely.  Then there's Paul McCartney. He was once THE heartthrob of The Beatles who married for love, lost his wife Linda to cancer and fell into an unhappy marriage with Heather Mills. Well, it's come out that he may be secretly dating fellow Brit and 60s pop star Lulu! Apparently he's trying to keep it on the down low until his divorce is final. They're also singing together on albums and on stage. Brilliant!

   On the hunkier side of things (WAY hunkier!) we were pleasantly surprised to see ultra handsome and extraordinarily built fitness model and actor Greg Plitt appearing on HGTV's Designed to Sell in the capacity as carpenter. Obviously the show focuses more on people fixing up their dreary homes to make them salable but WE focused on his muscular arms doing their stuff! Ex military stud and college athlete Greg Plitt has appeared on several talk shows as a fitness expert and  has a bit part in The Good Shepherd, but we know him best from his Gold's Gym print ads  and his stint with Icon Men. This is the site that features fitness models, workout DVDs, etc, and hot galleries featuring some of our all-time favorites like Rusty Joiner and Christian Boeving. We hope that Greg is as cool and friendly as these two.

   During the past few weeks, we've seen various companies and websites starting to promote new movies and touting some new discoveries in the process. COLT Studios has sent out a sneak peek of one of their new COLT Men Ricky Parks.  As you can see they've got this hairy chested and youngish big muscle stud posed in classic fashion. Along with that came a little hint of his bio "...Ricky loves men with grey hair! Uchum!!!! Hello? Can I have him wrapped and delivered FedEx Overnight please?"   Since hairy chests seem to be making a comeback among younger performers we can't overlook RJ Danvers one of the newer exclusives from Raging Stallion who has appeared in GRUNTS and Trouser Trout (by the way it's a fun sexy movie well worth seeing). RJ Danvers also will be appearing in a new movie titled Jock Itch (personally we hope it's a fairly light-hearted movie considering the unfortunate connotations of the title)

  RJ Danvers is one of many adult stars represented by Florida talent agency Fabscout.  Perhaps the hottest up and coming stud from Fabscout is Clint Wolf. He's appearing this week (January 17) on the live sex show presented at Jet Set Men. The show is titled, appropriately enough Jet Set Men's Seduction of the Straight Boys Live Sex Show (that about says it all eh?)

   Finally, there's at least one Disney alum that's not giving the studio exec acid reflux disorder---Zac Efron. The High School Musical and Hairspray star not only is keeping it real for the studio but he has a refreshing attitude regarding the sexuality rumors. When recently asked about Perez Hilton (one of gossip columnists stoking the fires) he actually commented that "..he does a great job"  and "Honestly, if the worst he can say about me is that I’m gay, then I think I’ll be fine. I can handle it."

  Finally, don't think for one second that we're forgetting our guys from amateur sites. There have been quite a few sexy new faces that have popped up (including one that we've been anticipating for several months) but we'll be saving them for our month-end round up. Yes, there have been THAT many and if January is any indication it's going to be a hot year.
