Our Top Men--The Updates

If you thought we were done listing our favorite men of 2007....well you're right. We did go the extra mile and provide a variety of categories and we could easily have listed a few more (our top athletes, TV stars, reality stars, etc) But maybe we'll leave some of these categories for our planned mid-year recap or our JackManly anniversary in July.

That said, we didn't want to put aside our favorite men just yet. 2007 may be over but our "appreciation" for these guys goes on --and there's much more to come from them in 2008 and beyond.  We wouldn't be doing our job unless we kept you up to date on our faves. Oh yes, and there are a few factoids that we left off before.

Kyan Douglas--The grooming expert from Queer Eye moved to LA to pursue acting (and he may still be doing it), but he's also been studying yoga and may open a retreat in New Mexico where he recently purchased land. Frankly, we'd be more interested in seeing him on the screen. Factoid: We saw him scurrying around LA's Grove shopping mecca uring the holidays and was very much alone.

Jesse James--Monster Garage host, West Coast Choppers owner and husband of Sandra Bullock, this tattooed muscle hunk is now at Spike TV hosting shows and specials and serving as executive producer. He looked awesome on the Scream Awards but we want to see much more! Factoid: We met him years ago when he owned his own security company--he IS as much of a hunk as he appears.

Jason Statham--2008 has THREE films featuring this stud---the video-game based In the Name of the King, The Brazilian Job (a sequel to The Italian Job), and Death Race (he stars in this action packed remake). Factoid: He's one of the most personable and accessible celebrities we see at our local gym. Super-nice too!

Chris Evans--Hunky Evans has been busy filming picture after picture and he's already getting buzz on the cop drama The Night Watchman. He's also starring in the upcoming Under the Blue Sky playing an Iraqi war veteran.
One of his overlooked pictures, the sci-fi drama Sunshine is due on DVD soon. Highly recommended!

Hugh Jackman--He's already started work on his X-Men Origins : Wolverine movie and is due to be seen this year in the long-awaited pre-WWII Baz Lurhmann epic Australia (also starring Nicole Kidman). Factoid: Has two adopted children.

James Marsden--He got some well-dseerved critical praise from his work in Hairspray and Enchanted and the buzz onthe upcoming 27 Dresses starring Katherine Heigl is that he finally gets his due.  Factoid: A respectable 5'11" he had to wear lifts in the X-Men movies because he was acting with tall actors Hugh Jackman and Famke Janssen (whose characters were supposed to be shorter!)

Milo Ventimiglia--There's no telling when Heroes goes back into production, but in the meantime he's officially dating his 18-year old co-star Hayden Panettiere (she plays his niece--ewww)

Marco Dapper--This model/actor has a big role coming up in the gay-themed  Redefining Normal set in the 80s about a bi-polar midwest guy (not Dapper) who relocates to LA and goes through a "coming of age".

Mason Wyler--The trials of Mason continue in his quest to start his own personal/video website. Apparently Manhunt (of all sites!) deleted his profile. Will someone cut this guy a break??

Jason Ridge--Buckshot's Paradise Found (sort of a companion piece to Colt Studio's Hawaii) is released. In addition the second Ridgeline film Beyond Malibu comes out this year and Jason will be directing his first film Up Country. Ridgeline Films seems to be moving right along and Damion Rios has signed on as an exclusive.

Jake Deckard--In 2007 he directed his first film Ink Storm for his own Raging Stallion  production company Screaming Eagle so we full expect 2008 to be another big year for big Jake.

Aaron Savvy--former Sean Cody stud "Ajay" has been appearing on several YouTube blogs (Ben Patrick Johnson, for example) and now has his own fitness site Aaron Savvy.com.

Naturally, as the year goes by we'll continue to update on these and other guys whom we continue to follow.
