When we first started the JackManly site and this blog we were blown away immediately by the scores of beautiful men that appeared on so many well-crafted sites. Naturally we've had our favorites from the beginning. Some have come and gone in the few months we've been online but there are still a good many whose appearances we eagerly look for.

  When it came time to choose our Man of The Year we wanted to use a criteria that would represent the unique style and vision of JackManly. We weren't looking to jump on bandwagons or follow trends. Our choice would have to be someone whom we felt deserved more attention than he had gotten and whom we felt was going to be an formidable force in the year to come. And only one person came to mind.

 Thus it is that we are happy to announce that the JackManly Man of the Year is Tyler Cummings.

      
 Those of you who have followed JackManly and other sites should be familiar with the very handsome, well built and naturally charismatic model and performer who has made his home at Next Door Studios. We certainly are not the first to recognize his enormous appeal as he appeared in a photo spread in a fall edition of Men Magazine. Nor will we be the last.

 Tyler Cummings first appeared as Kris Gates on Mike Hancock and moved over to Next Door Studios where he has appeared on almost all the various sites in the Next Door stable, including Next Door Male, Next Door Buddies, Next Door Hook-Ups, and Tommy D. And unlike other straight performers he does not have a "do not touch" rule when it comes to scenes with guys. He's done solo scenes, scenes with guys, with girls and even group bi-scenes. His versatility and willingness to do a little bit more in his videos is yet another reason why we chose Tyler as our man. 

  What does the future hold for Tyler Cummings? For one thing, we had the pleasure of meeting him at the GayVN Retreat back in October and within the next month we'll be announcing and publishing our exclusive interview and pics here and at our JackManly site.  You'll be seeing more of Tyler at Next Door Studios in the coming months and who knows, perhaps elsewhere with a little more publicity.
