Reality Recap

Oh what a week it was on our fave reality shows---and very tres gay. Lots of game-changers too.

First there was that much-publicized guest appearance by Zeb Atlas on Howard Stern. Good ol' Zeb has made a pretty good living as muscle model and keeping people wondering about his sexuality. Well leave it to Stern and company to corner Zeb and get him to admit to a few things. Apparently when Zeb was younger he had a bud who would suck his cock. Although he's never bottomed and has a girlfriend Zeb apparently has had a number of things put up his butt. You know, the usual straight guy stuff--fingers, beads, etc. Zeb admitted to some "gay for pay" type experiences and mentioned his Mark Dalton video. Then there was a lap dance Zeb performed for Stern staffer Richard Christy as part of a "who is gayer, Richard or Zeb?" portion of the show.  Zeb won with a gay rating of 80%.  All in good fun for sure--but where now Zeb?

Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency episode 2 was not as gay, but realistically isn't Janice herself just a drama queen without the penis? This week another model left agency to pursue other options and naturally Janice was more than a little miffed. Not so pleasant for Janice, fun for us. Pretty Christina simply can't understand why Janice wasn't happy for her. Hello? Christina you've known Janice for months---what did you think her reaction would be?
Of course Janice attracts drama like a moth to a bug light and we got a juicy dose of it this week with open casting calls, weight and health issues, and the casting of new male models. New guy Grant with his shaggy 'do came off as dum-dum #1. Then there's the new gay couple from Florida we've mentioned before. BTW, we've heard they've been dishing JP...more drama on the way? You bet!

Project Runway was like a game of musical chairs. First, poor Jack had a potentially dangerous staff infection that forced him to depart--and what a tearful departure it was. You could tell how much Jack was liked by all. But don't feel too sad for Jack. As we mentioned he has a new beau, Dale from Top Chef and he's put out his own video--a very cute and joyful Flashdance lip sync video:

Since the show didn't want to lose TWO designers this week, they brought back Chris, whose shoulder pad fiasco gave him the boot in the previous episode. The challenge this week was indeed a challenge. The models were former plus-size gals who lost quite a few pounds and who came out wearing their favorite outfits--from when they were fat! Thus the designers had to take the ladies' oversized clothes and using the same materials redesign outfits for their new bods. Some had more obstacles than others and alas, poor Steven got stuck with a big, beaded, synthetic fabric wedding dress.
We agreed with the top designs--except for Jillian who in our eyes didn't keep to the rules by making a dress out of all new material (except for some piping). The winner was the flamboyant Christian but you could tell that straight guy runner-up Kevin was pissed! As for Chris he created an outfit that bitchy Michael Kors reminded him of Irma La Douce---meow! By the way, why is Michael Kors a judge? Has anyone seen his boring designs?? Elisa dodged another bulllet when witty Steven was booted. He screwed up big time by barely using any material from his gown for an ugly outfit that resembled a maid's uniform. Now that he's gone, what was up with that accent??

Survivor is down to the final four and gay flight attendant Todd is the only male left and looks like he might have a shot at the big bucks. Frankly, we are so relieved to see Peih-Gee get voted off. What a pill! She rubbed us the wrong way from day one and continued down the road to Bittertown when she threw a competition to get cute Aaron booted--and she laughed about it. MEAN! Sure she was a fighter, but a terrible strategist and when she didn't get her way--watch out. That's when the bile came up. So, will Todd become the sole Survivor? We''ll be watching on Sunday.
