Zeb Atlas Meets.....Howard Stern???

Nope it's not a typo. Zeb Atlas, that big-muscled star of male erotica is going to appear on Howard Stern's Sirius radio show on Dec 11 at 5:30 AM (Pacific time). Zeb Atlas, who has displayed his huge bod in muscle shows at gay establishments, has also done videos--"solo" sex performances and a "muscle worship" video with fellow performer Mark Dalton. While Zeb hasn't done the "gay for pay" full on sex video yet, he is still planning on directing and starring one where he promises he will get it on with another guy (a casting call was scheduled at West Hollywood club Micky's before fire gutted the club) We can only imagine what Stern & Atlas will talk about.
If you're surprised by this news, then you'll probably be downright shocked to read that Howard Stern is in fact gay-friendly. Think we're kidding? Well, read on.
You probably think of Howard Stern as a loudmouth who makes fun of just about everyone--gays included-- and you'd be right in your assessment. But look beyond thisand you'll see something more. First, it was Howard Stern who took on the FCC and the Bush Administration when they were doing their utmost to shut his show down. He retaliated by becoming politically active and getting his listeners to follow suit. And once Howard got his own show at Sirius Satellite Radio there was no stopping him.
So how does someone who uses gay epithets warrant being considered "gay friendly" ? Consider his frank conversations with Sandra Bernhard and how they differ from her appearances on standard talk shows. Her lesbianism is an open topic. Sure, most men with sex on the brain love the subject of lesbian sex, so what about gay men?
-- After Matthew Shepard's murder, Howard Stern had the balls to invite the "God Hates Fags" people on his show to show his listeners how horrible and ridiculous they are. In fact since then, they've appeared several times only to dig themselves further into the hole.
--When Stern had on his show some of the so-called reformed gays, they were the butt of his jokes and he professed that not only did he not think theywere all that reformed but he didn't see the need for ANY gay to be "reformed"
--He welcomed the idea of his new Sirius channel being next to the gay channel going so far as to mention that "...gay people always look like they're having so much more fun than me". Derek Hartley (whose The Derek & Romaine Show on Sirius OutQ and where Zeb Atlas will also appear on Dec 11) returned the compliment because Stern treated LGBT performers with equality.
--Howard Stern didn't just give Brokeback Mountain a good review--he PRAISED it.
--He's a HUGE fan of the L-Word
--When athlete Tim Hardway made his anti-gay remarks, Stern was vocal in his opposition to the homophobe.
--He hired openly gay actor Geore Takei as a featured performer

--He recently had sexy pornster Jason Ridge on his show to test whether Stern's regular, rotund Joey Boots was genuine when he outed himself or whether it was publicity. Those who have seen the interview and saw how Boots and Ridge made out can verify that it was indeed true and Howard Stern said it was no big deal and he told Boots he was heroic for coming out. (a special note here: Jason Ridge has branched out on his own and has started his own company Ridgeline Films which has released its first feature A Rising Star.
With all this it's no surprise to learn that many of Stern's listeners tune into OutQ because of his past support.
We can't wait to see how Howard Stern treats Zeb Atlas and his "gay for pay" career. It should be a hoot.
