From our gay vantage point it sure looks like male models are providing more fodder for reality shows, websites and blogs these days.

--Bravo's answer to America's Next Top Model series Make Me a Super Model will feature male models among its group of runway hopefuls

--Armani Exchange is running an online contest to determine their next underwear model. 

   Naturally we're a bit biased here, but think about it. If given a choice, which holds more appeal? A TV show or blog featuring whiny women with eating disorders or shows and blogs that feature hunky guys (gay & straight) parading around shirtless or in their underwear? Let's face it, as much as we dislike much of the stereotyping we often see on YV (reality show or not) we do enjoy the gay melodrama whenever it rears its head on reality shows. And we as a demographic do have lots of clout. 

Think about it:

-- Bravo took a chance with Queer Eye, we tuned in and with our viewership transformed the channel from
    cutural independent film wannabe to the gayest and gay-friendly haven we'd had yet seen.

-- Take a look at the voting results (so far ) at he A/X site and you'll find that the most openly gay finalist
   is way ahead in the voting tallies.

   And now back to that new season of Janice Dickinson Modelling Agency and the male models. The first episode is about a new client coming to book Latin models for a new magazine.  Poor Janice realizes she needs to spice up her roster with some Latin models so she holds a casting call with resulting melodrama.

 JP Calderon (at top of page, left)--the former Survivor contestant and professional jock who came out on season 2 thanks to Janice (her speech and her support to JP is one reason why we suport her show!) . JP looks as hot as ever and since he is Latin will be featured prominently right off the bat)

 Chris J- tall & lean, verging on cute from season one. A poker player who uses those skills on the show.

 Kehoe--From season two is the semi- "yo! bro!" str8 muscle jock. Hot bod!

 Billy- blondish straight jock from season one. At 20 seems to have a good head on his shoulders. We'll see..

 Maurice--football jock turned model from season none.
