   Guess who's in the running to be the new Armani Exchange underwear model? None other than Ryan Barry, the boyfriend of reality star tuned model, actor & writer Reichen Lehmkuhl (who's now appearing in the 3rd season of here! series Dante's Cove.  Heartthrob Ryan is one of the three finalists in competition to replace current A/X model Clint Mauro. By the way Mauro, a veteran at 21, is also on the panel that determined the finalists. AND...you can determine the winner by registering at the A/X site here and placing your vote. 


 Ryan is up against Daniel and Michael (all pictured below) but we think Reichen's boyfriend has got to be the favorite. Sure, we known that Reichen's probably got his pals voting for Ryan but we don't think he's needs it. Some very hot pics of him taken by photographer Adam Bouska (see them here) probably clinched his win. Incidentally, model or not, Ryan is a damn good catch---the guy's a brain with several degrees, an Olympic contender, and more.

 We've seen the scores already and don't want to give anything away, but take a careful look at the guys. Maybe you think Daniel with his Mauro-esque look hasa chance. Or how about Michael with his Italian/Euro look and shaggy retro hair?  Will the A/X people want someone like him as a departure from past models?  Vote now before the polls close and voice your opinion.

  Speaking of models and voting, you have other chances to gve an unknown a modelling career.  If you've been paying attention to the commercials airing on Bravo you've seen that the channel's next reality/competition show is Make Me a Super Model.  It's based on a succesful UK show of the same name and will feature a group of guys & gals competing for a $100, 000 and a modelling contract.

  Hosted by models Niki Taylor & Tyson Beckford, the format is similar to other Bravo shows--cameras follow the contestants as they live together (in this case in a NY apt), take part in competitions, and get eliminated one by one until a winner is declared. In this case there'll be two winners (a male anda female) along with another twist---viewers will vote every week to determine who stays and who goes. In fact, you can participate before the show even begins by choosing two cast members. If you go to the Bravo site you'll find a list of three guys and three girls with bios, pics and videos. You can vote as often as you wish for your favorite and the top vote getters (one male, one female) will join the final cast. The guys are pictured below for your convenience (he don't get on our case for neglecting the girls--this IS a gay blog you know)

 We have no idea about the kinds of competitions that these runway wannabes will have to endure, but we can only imagine. A runway race? An underwear fashion show (we'd like that!)? A shopping trip for makeup with a limited budget? Styling their own hair? Such drama! Such trauma! We can't wait!
