As we mentioned before we spent three days at the GayVN Retreat in the heart of Hollywood at the elegant
Renaissance Hotel (part of the Hollywood/Highland cpmplex). Naturally we were there to learn and mingle with
other webmasters, host sites, company representatives, etc. But we also anticpated meeting many of the beautiful
men that grace the sites that we review. In evey regard this was a usiness trip worth every minute of our time.

After the first night's opening extravaganza hosted by Manifest Men, we trotted off to Rage for another party and
free drinks, co-sponsored by Next Door Studios. The Next Door guys were there, walking around handing out drink
tickets for the weekend and providing eye-candy for all. Spotted were Tommy D, Tyler Cummings, Anthony, Angel, Jonny T,
and a new guy we found out was Marcus. Let's just say that every single one of the guys looked great---pictures and videos
of them don't lie.
The next day we attended all the panels covering everything from site content to piracy issues. The details might bore
you to tears so we'll focus more on the time in between and after the panels. Before it all began we got to speak to
Tommy D, First of all he's as charming and friendly as he appears on his site Tommy D & Friends . He was also quite frank
that he was in essence the chaperone forthe Next Door guys. But we were also impressed that he was there to listen
to the panels and network. He's got a good head on his shoulders and good business sense.
The guys were out in the halls in between panels, giving away more drink tickets to the nearby bar and they were
wearing various Next Door and Male Digital t-shirts (Male digital is the new adult access site) and going shirtless when
possible. You already know that we love Tyler Cummings and he is even more eye-riveting in public. Later we had a
chance to chat with him too. Surprsingly he's very soft-spoken, maybe even a little shy. We can't say anything yet,
but we may have something to announce about Tyler in the near future. You'll be happy to learn that ALL the Next
Door guys in addition to being hot are also very nice.

At the close of each of the day's panel discussions, we were all treated to a poolside cocktail party sponsored
by Next Door. We mingled with all the particpants, got to know some more guys and were treated to a healthy
display of delicious eye-candy as you can see below. The Next Door guys really are a friendly bunch not just with
the guests----but with each other. Their comraderie was very apparent and it's one of the reasons why their
chemistry on camera is real.
We also must mention Simon Soulieres, the account manager for Buddy Profits which handles the affiliates of
Next Door Studios, Male Digital & Gay Porn Access. We finally got to meet him and thank him for all his hard
work. In addition he's a sweet & sincere individual who was most gracious and appreciative of every affiliate.
We look forward to working with him in the future.
The wekend was over far too quickly but there will be more functions in the future and we'll report on them
too. Be sure and check out all the sites that are part of the Next Door family--there really is something for
