Man Retreat
As you've read we attended the GayVN Retreat in Hollywood this past weekend and it was a fun and informative venture that included meeting many of the faces you see here and the hard-working individuals who bring you online entertainment. We're very happy to bring you our impressionms of this very special weekend.
Our weekend began with the kickoff reception on Thursday October 25 hosted by ManifestMen. Let's just say that no video or high quality gallery could do justice to the muscular men of Manifest. Vin Marco is just a beautiful specimen (and a super guy) that the Manifest Men have a high standard emulate. It wouldn't surprise you to learn that ubiquitous Johnny Castle indeed has an eye-riveting body. But he also has a disarming charisma that we noticed crossed all barriers. The women in theregistration area were practically swooning.
Oh yes, and there's another thing about Johnny---he has beautiful skin. You may not think that's worth mentioning but it explains why he photographs so well. Frank DeFeo, Troy Stevens, Giovanni, and Rusty Winchester were also there and these guys fillled out their ManifestMen tank tops perfectly. Again, each one of these guys is so much more devastating-looking in person that were shocked at every turn. And Troy Stevens & Giovanni arereally as big as their stats. We got a chance to watch a mini-photoshoot outside of the hall and I think were were rendered immobile by the site.
The other kickoff party on Thursday night took place at Rage with a special area for all attendees. This party was atended by the guys from Next Door Studios and while the music blared and the people milled about it was hard to get a moment with these beautiful hunks. Tommy D brought along Tyler Cummings and more hunks (which we'll tel you about next time) who handed out drink tickets for the weekend and were as friendly and charming to all who came up and said hello. It was a great preview of what was to come.
