Logo Gets Animated
If you're one of many gays and lesbians that are into comics, animation, sci-fi, video games and other tech stuff then you've probably felt slighted over the years. Well, LGBT cable network Logo is about to change all that on Friday October 26 with a new series Alien Boot Camp.
What is it? It's a series that features queer animation, videos, interviews and more. You'll be able to see the CGI-animated vamipire/detective satire The Night Life, Lizzy the Lezzy 101, series Piki & Poko (about gay teens), My Crazy Life (about growing up gay & Latino) and more. You can even check out what's in store for you by going to Logo online's website devoted to Alien Boot Camp.
After the success of Rick & Steve, the stop-motion animated gay series that uses toy figures, it must have become obvious to Logo that there was a market for this kind of original programming and we're happy to see it. The website provides nice teasers, videos, links to related sites for fans of comics & related pop culture and more. This may be a good sign that we'll be seeing more NEW stuff from this network that has earnestly forged ahead in spite of a serious lack of new original programming. Bravo! (oops, wrong reference)

I hope this show is good. "Rick & Steve" is one of the few good things I've seen on Logo besides the presidential forum. Everything seems tepid and timid. Logo needs to get some balls and realize who their audience is. I want more from a gay network than constant repeats of my favorite movies butchered and filled with commercials.
